Say hello to Diana, the Head of Content at Accutics. An international digital marketer and no-nonsense content strategist, passionate about gastronomy & 80s movies.

What do you do at Accutics?

I am the Head of Content here at Accutics - a really exciting role to have since it involves being in charge of all our content and marketing activities. I am passionate about strategy and content that provide value to readers and customers, so I am trying to have that as my everyday modus operandi.

How did you get into content strategy?

Looking back, I’ve always been working with content in one form or another. I guess it all started in high school when I took the leap to playwriting and short stories. That transitioned to co-founding and editing an art magazine when I was studying in Germany & Austria. Six years ago, I moved to Copenhagen and decided to take content to the next level by working with it more strategically in Nordic communication agencies & SaaS companies. In our space, it’s all about content-content-content now, but I believe it has always been there. We have just begun to leverage it better.

What brought you to Accutics?

I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with tech companies and entrepreneurial people that continue to inspire me. I have previously worked at a cool social media SaaS platform called Komfo that got acquired by a competitor last year. During my time there, I tapped into SoMe campaigns and strategy and felt that there’s a real need for agile tools to maximize the output of our work as marketers. So, when I was offered the opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that makes our ecosystem less fragmented, I grabbed it without a second thought!

It’s all about co-creation and thinking bottom-up by talking to industry leaders, customers, colleagues, partners.

What’s your favorite part of your job?

Working with inspiring people every day. It sounds cheesy, but I truly believe that listening and bouncing ideas back and forth are the things that make a brand’s voice great. I may be the one in charge of our overall content strategy, but it’s all about co-creation and thinking bottom-up by talking to industry leaders, customers, colleagues, partners.

What are you up to in your free time?

This last winter, when the days were getting shorter and darker, I was all about indoor hibernation. I have recently discovered my inner plant lover, so I’m turning our home into an exotic indoor jungle while hoping to keep everything alive. Other than that, I am a big movie buff, and that covers a lot of my free time 🙂

I love collecting unnecessary things: vintage jewelry with animals, kitchen gear that you only use once, quirky shoes, those kinda things.

Name three random things about yourself

  • I have probably had the same bob haircut for more than half of my life
  • I love collecting unnecessary things: vintage jewelry with animals, kitchen gear that you only use once, quirky shoes, those kinda things
  • I am a visual sucker for anything 80s and art deco

What’s something you think most people might not know about you?

I love food - but that’s not a secret to anyone 🙂 When I feel inspired, I also like writing about food & interesting food spots on Gastropolitans.com - a website that I co-founded with my partner.
